A Day in the Life of Kim Dao: Shopping & Pikachu Festival in YOKOHAMA Japan


In this video, Kim Dao is heading to Yokohama in Japan where there is a thousand Pikachus. Kim herself is wearing a shirt with a Pikachu on it and a skirt she got in Korea. She mentions that she was able to find out events like this from the travel site Odigo who paid for her to travel around Japan. Kim starts off by getting a Pikachu hat, and she shows off all the Pikachu decorations (https://www.odigo.jp/profile/kimdao). There are live performances with dancing Pikachus and a number of cute display cases scattered around Yokohama. She grabs lunch and gets a sandwich before heading to the Pokemon store filled with Pikachu items for the Pikachu event as well as the usual Pokemon items. Kim points out Pikachu in various costumes including The Queen’s Guard and the Statue of Liberty. She then goes to see the Pikachu parade filled with people in Pikachu clothing, Pikachu costumes and large Pikachu balloons. After the parade, she watches some more Pikachu performances. Kim checks out some carnival style Pikachu games before going to see Pikachu by the water dress up as a sailor, dancing on a boat. In the evening Kim finishes her day by watching a Pokemon projection.
