If you’re looking for super clean washed hair, then toss out your regular shampoos and conditioners and styling treatments. The odds are, all of those will have nasty detergents in them like sulfates. These chemicals strip the hair of its natural oils and start to degrade the structure of each hair strand. That in turn leads to weakness, dullness and damage.
There’s been a lot of buzz these days about no lather shampoos or cleansing conditioners. There are plenty out there to sample, but the true pioneer behind the trend is Chaz Dean. He’s the famous LA stylist who developed the WEN brand, approaching the formulas by his holistic, natural lifestyle.
WEN cleansing conditioners come in amazing choices and are formulated with botanical and/ or fruit based extracts. These nourishing ingredients deliver shine, body and manageability to hair of every type and texture. In addition, these cleansing conditioners smell heavenly.

When using WEN cleansing conditioner, it is key to use an ample amount, since there is no lather. It’s a totally different washing experience and easy to follow:
After rinsing water through hair, take one big pump of product and massage through the crown. Add another big pump for the mid-shaft and bottom of the hair and work through. Then splash water through the hair to make it frothy. Massage thoroughly for one minute and rinse. This is removing the build-up of styling products and grime.
Then, repeat the process, and massage WEN cleansing conditioner through your scalp and hair. Clip it up and allow it to set in. Rinse thoroughly in the shower.
The last step involves one more pump (about a dime to a quarter size) of cleansing conditioner to your wet, dripping hair. This acts as a conditioning treatment, sealing in moisture.
It’s that simple.
