Flagship Europe delivers a variety of different food products throughout the UK. Last year, it also began delivering “Food to Go.” The CEO of the company, Russell Maddock, is seeking to help his company get a leg up on the European competition. It looks like he has successfully don this. It was during this year that Flagship Europe and the OSI formed a critical partnership in Europe. Both companies are extremely pleased with the partnership since it will definitely help both astronomically in their European services. OSI Group is led by President and COO David McDonald. He is also a member of its Board of Directors.
McDonald began his career in business leadership by earning a degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University. In addition to his leadership role at the OSI Group, McDonald has been an Independent Director of Marfrig Global Foods S.A. since December 2008 and sits as Chairman of the North American Meat Institute. McDonald continues to lead OSI in its innovative path. This year he is focusing the company production on environmental-friendly principles. This will mean that they are in complete alignment with animal welfare laws.
OSI’s concern with the well-being of the public extends beyond environmental-friendly practices. To the end of environmental-friendly production, the company is also working on innovations to reduce water and energy waste. OSI hopes to complete these projects by 2020. But these will not see the end of OSI’s environmental quest. It will keep on working on such innovations. Further ideas in the conceptual stage involve recycling and water purification. They hope to use the water purification for non-food operations. It also includes charitable giving. In 2015, the company donated food to help the hungry. The leadership of OSI Group is very optimistic about their prospects for the future. It is ever improving in production and sales.
